He muttered the words that would change his life forever. For that one instant he wondered what it would be like if she rejected him; how he would react if she broke his heart. Cash opened his eyes just in time to see


Death of InnocenceA creature walked through the smoking ruins of a town. The smell of ozone hung thickly in the air as he drifted through columns of smoke. He wore the tattered, bloodstained clothes of a soldier; in his hand he clutched an archaic rifle which had fallen into disrepair. The man’s face was covered in dirt and gore and on his nose hung a broken pair of spectacles. Mud and blood caked his hands. The creature was no longer human, but something less. It was as if society had stripped away his humanity and turned him into a beast. Had another human been alive to encounter this sad creature, the only reaction would have been one of horrorDeath of Innocence
